As previously reported, TRIVIUM's "Ascendancy" album has been officially certified gold in the U.K. for sales in excess of 100,000 copies. Meanwhile, the band's follow-up effort, "The Crusade", looks set to be certifield silver (60,000) the very first day it's released, according to the group's record label, Roadrunner Records.

A free MP3 of new TRIVIUM track "Detonation" was recently posted on RoadrunnerRecords.com and was downloaded over 80,000 times in two weeks. It's also had 410,000 plays on the band's MySpace page.

Speaking of MySpace, look for the world premiere of TRIVIUM's video for "Anthem" on October 2 — mere days before the release of "The Crusade".

"The Crusade" was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando. Once again produced by TRIVIUM and Jason Suecof, the CD is "a dazzling explosion of tight, intricate and instantly memorable songs that feature awe-inspiring musicianship from all four members of the band," according to a press release.
